Sen. Rand Paul introduced a bill yesterday just to add restrictions to foreign aid. He wants to stop it completely, but knew that would never pass. . . baby steps and all. It still failed. It seems the whole country is calling for an end to foreign aid, except for those who "represent" us.

On the serious side. We have been courting paki for a while as the ability to access air space in other parts of the region has been diminished . This happened due to Turkey having issues with us supporting the Kurds, who the turks dislike.
It was also a buffer and subtle warning to India telling them we support you, but do not support your advances in to the I / P bordering areas. Here's a view from space. makes the korean border look tame.
