What am I missing?
In the Arab/Muslim world, they have a term called "en shallah" meaning "if Allah wills it." You tell them to be somewhere at a certain time they usually say "en shallah" meaning that they'll get there when they get there. We used to always have to tell our Afghan counterparts that training or whatever started at 1000, that's 10 o'clock sharp, not en shallah.

My personal favorite is when I hear 'en shallah' from someone thats wearing a watch.
