If I could, I would imbed the "You People" clip from Tropic Thunder............
My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.
Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, and it stinks more than mine.

why not ask it? no harm no foul. Christ if one follows the media, having bought more than one firearm within a lifetime and having two bullets could make you a terrurist much less able to get a cc permit.
OP, I know it doesn't look like this - but these people are actually good guys.
To explain it a little bit, most of the guys here buy/sell/trade 7 guns every month or so...
Regarding your question, if you have clear background - you won't have any problems.
Little advice - get a good training before your CCW. Also do some reading about laws, regulations, etc.
And don't hesitate to ask questions here and welcome to the forum!
Feedback or what left of it after a Great Crash of 2012.

Amen to that. Sometimes what is considered obvious to old school gun vets may seem like a perfectly reasonable question to someone who is new at the whole hobby. Condescending smart ass remarks don't do a whole lot to encourage new people or make them want to come back here to get involved with the community.
Is that what we do? Beat up new guys for asking new guy questions?
For the record, the reason this guy got any shit at all was because he posted in the thread about CCW wait times, asking about wait times. A whole thread complaining, and explaining why the question is unnecessary, and he asked how long the wait is. Then, he started another thread asking the same question. Then he started this question. After demonstrating that he was not reading the thread he first posted in, he was basically open game.
