Something different than what we've been doing to break it. Reasonable solutions have already been proposed, but it's difficult to hear over the mentality that an election is a horse race where you're supposed to hedge your bet on who's going to win.

I like the Ramussen polls because they have been the most accurate since 2008 http://m.rasmussenreports.com/public..._tracking_poll . Yesterday Obama was 50 percent to Romneys 45. However looking better today. Like BP Tactical said Romney has got to take the gloves off, he has to make some leaners wake-up.

Ben said: "When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic."

I think there are enough people willing to vote themselves money (from us to them) that it is pretty much over. Romney can't fix it even if he got 8 years and worked hard to fix it right! A vote for Romney is merely a postponement of the inevitable future of America.

The Federal Government (Both parties) have used the Commerce Clause and Executive Orders to control almost all aspects of Americans lives to the point where we really are no longer free to make our own way.

I will vote for postponement, but I have little faith in the general population that they have the ability to shed the wool and walk away from the Federal Government feeding trough.

Hit it on the head. I guess I can just hope that Mittens comes out and destroys Obama in the debates but I won't hold my breath.

Call me crazy, naive, or just stupid but I'm feeling an awaking and a win of 2010 levels coming for Mittens.

I don't have 10k to bet on it though.

This reminds me of that Bob Marley line:

I'm happy to be apart of the group (like most on here) that aren't getting fooled by these moronic liberal ways.

    Get shitty Mitt.

Exactly, you would think the GOP learned a lesson when McCain ran against him. He wanted to have a "gentlemanly" battle and not stoop to attack ads and he lost. I can still remember some of the idiotic ads about him being too old to be president and what have you. Obama supposedly raised like $650 million for his first campaign, so we were inundated with ads and commercials. All I keep hearing now is that Romney has outraised Obama nearly every month, he needs to start spending that money and hit all the mainstream media stations with ads that prove Obama's incompetence.

Those who would vote for Obama, in general, probably won't remeber anything said until about a week out from the election. Maybe the Mitt campaign is going to dump all the ads on them at once and roll the vote over.

Mittens can't win because only racists vote against Obama. Just ask his supporters they will tell you.

You know, there's a frightening amount of normally sane, reasonable people of color that will vote for Obama just because "they gotta support the brotha". I work with two of 'em. They both despise welfare cheats and parasites, and are hard-working responsible guys, but they still "gotta support the brotha". Politics don't even factor in.

Not to mention the numbers of Yuppies that will vote for him because it's "trendy" or "green", even though they may be eager-beaver-overachiever fast-track Capitalists at heart. I see 'em every day. I think there's more people today that don't have a clue about what ideals the US was founded on, or what our Constitution is really about, than there are that do.

And the numbers of people that believe "it's the Government's duty to take care of the people" is really frightening.
