Yessir. Sort of.

Its just a chamber check after last round lockback. Checking to make sure there is no stoppage and it for sure IS last round.

I catch some flak for it from different guys.

I don't see why guys would give you flak for it too me it seem like a damn good habit to get into just in case. When i start doing AR courses idk what you call them i've never done one but really want too. I'll try that method out.

Cause its a waste of time. Youre focusing on your chamber when you should be focusing on the threat(s). You check the chamber in low/no light situations.

I can understand where they are coming from. Im doing 12 shots WITH a reload in 5.42 seconds......WITH a chamber check....so time isnt a problem.

Still its all about training like you fight, I can understand where they comin from

I'm still undecided on the AFG. The ALG Combat Trigger is OK for what it is. The two P-mags coupled together with the Magpul Mag-link is kind of nice.

Those are my most recent additions.

While I like the look and feel of the CASV-M handguard, it limits my choice of optics if I want 100% co-witness with the irons.

I also have a fiber-optic front sight that I have mixed feelings about as well.
