I think the major difference is, the Right cares about rule of law, order, and actually (for the most part) respects the consequences of civil disobedience. The left on the other hand, doesn't... Riots, protests, etc... They never work either.

I figured you were of sound moral character and say this is wrong. Yes, I hate our current president, have a very strong hatred, but I certainly don't wish any harm befall him or his family, I just want to see them no longer living in the White House... no more, no less.

I honestly don't get why people think that all liberals align themselves with other liberals, even the crazy ones who call for the nominee to die and try to call for riots. Do we align ourselves with the crazy right that calls for all Jews and blacks to be sent packing out of the U.S.? No. So don't label Rucker in a false light just because his political views are a little less to the right of center than ours.

Also, I just read that the FBI and USSS is investigating and that many of these folks could face hefty fines and up to 5 years max behind bars. If I were in charge, I'd push for the maximum in every case.

Amen to that. Anyone that threatens the life of a .gov official should be investigated. UNFORTUNATELY depending on the party in power, it only goes so far.

I can't say I'm surprised by this. I haven't seen a lot of stickers for either side this year, perhaps for this very reason.

Got to the office late one day last week and had to cruise almost the entire parking garage looking for a spot, so I counted stickers. Out of hundreds of cars, I saw two Obama stickers (one from '08), one Romney sticker, and one blue Obama flag sticking out of a driver's window (seriously). I parked next to the last one with my Gary Johnson sticker.
