Did you take into account the base color of the drill bit might be different than the base color of the slide? Wouldn't this effect on the final outcome?

They said no. If I sent it in with the bluing on it, it would turn out the same color as if I sent it in polished up. The sheen matters though on how I polish it or leave it rough.....Originally Posted by Irving

Those colors are awesome. The bottom one is close to what I would consider "gunmetal."
