Oh, it's a VERY shrewd move. Democrats that would support her will see that she's deflecting blame from Obama and won't hold this against her. Republicans that can't stand her don't believe a word of it as they see she's either deflecting blame voluntarily or being tossed under the bus by Obama/Biden. Either way, only a very small minority actually blame her and she gets brownie points with the Democratic partisans for trying to take one for the Ripper.
