I think some of you need to make up your mind about what your argument is actually going to be.

SO glad someone else noticed all the conflicting posts from various members here and people in general everywhere. Just like saying that RP has no real power to do anything even if he was in office yet BO has the power to plunge us all into the darkest days of our nation's history. Uhmkay.

Wanna borrow my scissors so you can cut the blindfold off? Congress. RP (and GJ) has zero friends from his party in Congress. Sure, there are members of congress that would probably believe in the L ideas on some issues and go for it, but by and large, BO has supporters in congress... either by policy or party. So yes, RP wouldn't have a whole lot of power, but BHO does because of party politics.
