Both of those are NICE guys!

The POF, those is to drool for............... how is the accuracy with the 14.5 barrel?

It is a nice balance of size and power, you going to keep that scope or go for something smaller? is that PDF something specific to your POF build or just in general for the 14.5 model?

Mine had to go back to Sig for a do-over. Eats everything I've tried now except old Greek M80 ball. No steel case for me thanks.

    They:
    "Polished the chamber"
"cleaned up the front gas port"
Got a free trigger job that turned it from worst, grittiest ever to pretty damn nice for a battle rifle.

Here is my Beast. It started life as a 18 inch LaRue OBR in 308.

I rebarreled it to 260 with a custom chamber. The neck area of the chamber is slightly bigger so I can use GI 308 brass necked down to 260.

The barrel is a Lilja 8 twist with a PRI adjustable gas block. I swapped out the bolt carrier group with a JP lightened one. The can is a Sure Fire and the scope is a Schmidt & Bender 4-16x42 with a 3-gun Stuff lever. With the A2 buttstock being full of lead it is really heavy, but it offsets the weight of the long barrel and can perfectly.

I mainly shoot 123 Sierras and H4350. I have found the 139/142s dont work well with the short SR-25 mags. The bullet eats up too much powder space. It will hold MOA out to 600-700 on a calm day. When it gets windy, the groups open up as my wind reading skillz blow.

I still have the short 308 barrel and OEM bolt carrier group. On the shelf for a rainy day.
