I might have to check that out! I can't remember their name, but we saw a local metal band two years ago at UproarFest, they opened for Uncle Nasty's band (who wasn't very good) and these guys were pretty awesome. I think they were from Ft. Collins or something.

I went there a time or two back in the day, but for the last year or so I have worked Fridays. I work 12 hr shifts so getting out and tearing up the metal scene is not nearly as fun when work started at 4:30 am.

I love Lzzy! Halestorm is awesome live! And I had the distinct pleasure of meeting the band- she's pretty rad in person, not to mention hawt! Also, at the same show, got to meet Corey Taylor of Stone Sour and Slipknot- told him that before missions in AFG we played his music- the thought that was awesome.

I like this thread im probably one of the youngest here so there might be a few bands you never heard of. Here it goes! My top 10 would be 1. Parkway drive 2. August burns red 3. All that remains 4. We came as Romans 5. Lamb of god 6. Five finger death punch 7. Disturbed 8 bring me the horizon 9.in this moment 10. Mudvayne.

I know some chick who boned one of the parkway drive guys. I guess she started crying immediately after. Not really a hardcore/metalcore fan though.
