No that one would be above Garden of the Gods.

One of the places we have South-shoots at is past Woodland Park, take 67 out of Woodland, go one mile past the Rainbow Falls Res. sign, take a left and go a few hundred yards up, shooting on the right.

Glad to hear that, I've heard bad stuff about the Rampart Range location. Now I just have to pinpoint where this place is on a map, so I can find it.

Can anyone give me directions from Parker? Or Castle Rock? Larkspur? I-25?

OK, now I really feel stupid. I've got my DeLorme Colo. Atlas and Gazetteer out, looking on page 50, at hwy 67 between Woodland Park and Deckers, and I don't see anything marked Rainbow Falls Reservoir, or anything Rainbow Falls either. Looks like there's an unnamed road to the left about 1 mile past Manitou Park Lake, off 67, about 7-8 miles n. of Woodland Park. Same place?

Also looks like there's only two ways to get there, 67 from Sedalia down through Deckers, or 24 from Colorado Springs up to Woodland Park, then 67 north from there. Doesn't look like there's any easy way to get there from Parker. ARRRRGGGHHH!!!!

What about the Family Shooting Center at Cherry Creek State Park, is it OK? I was assuming every gangbanger and knucklehead from Aurora goes there to work on their drive-by skills.

Most of the gangbangers and knuckleheads are at The Firing Line in Aurora.

The south shoot is between mile marker 88 and 89 there is a stop sign on the west side of the road. You can't miss it, It's a forest service road just be carefull as you enter to your right there is a big hole.

Cherry Creek is ok, the range master keeps everyone in line. Have you gone to Harris Park, north of 285 I have a map if needed. It can get crowded on the weekend and I always pack out more then I pack-in.

No, I haven't been ANYWHERE, other than The Firing Line and the private range where I did my CCW demo shooting. I'd really like to find a place where me and my grandson can do some plinking (and haul out our trash). We could go to Cherry Creek, that would be a good indoctrination for him, but water-filled soda cans and milk jugs are my favorite shizz to shoot at. If you can give me a map of this place, that would be great! The one on 67 sounds good too.
