^^^^ This. I love all my K-Bar knives, but I would choose my K-Bar Tanto knife. For a fighting blade.

Picked up the folding tanto at the Ready Room before he closed.
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.

My favorite is my Surefire Echo. Not too big and not to small.

This is why I called dibs on one of the Kukris that Skully had for sale a while back. Don't have it yet, been out of town, but soon. Not into knife fighting personally, but I wanted something that would scare the shit out of people and keep 'em away.

Don't be fooled into thinking that having a 'combat' knife means you can use it effectively. Having a knife and knowing how to use it are two totally different things.

Unrelated in a way..but where the hell can I get a real Bayo for a modern AR?

get an old k-bar. Learn to use the knife is more important than the knife itself.

I understand. Kind of like having a guitar doesn't mean I can play the damn thing.

So, I finally decided what I wanted. I was inspired by this piece of advice....

But it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. But it lead me to looking at the M3 trench knife which I found to be similar. But real ones are more than I wanted to spend and even newer reproductions are around $70.

Then I stumbled across another design that I liked. Although reviews were somewhat mixed, I liked the style and the fact that it was made out of a spring steel that should hold up well to abuse. The fact that I found it on sale for around $21 was a huge plus too. I ordered it the other day and should have it in a few days.

What did I end up with?

    A Glock 78.

    Thanks, everyone.
