I agree with your point. However everyone remember we have a left dominated State Government in place right now. These leftist feel very impowered right now and I believe that these fine folks will implement their so called good intentioned laws. The gun ban will come from the State level if it will come from anywhere. Lots of West coast and East coasters that have moved into this state. Once they get here they soon forget why they left where they left and implement the same crap.

Whether it is bogus nonsense or not i think we can expect something at the Federal level eventually.
I believe that on Federal level they are too divided. A right dominated Congress is a good thing right now. The Senate led by Harry is left minded however Harry Reid tends to support the 2nd.
Now our State is a different story. We have the left who have just won major victories all the way around. Our State has had Columbine, Platte Canyon, Southwest mall bombing, the Shirk Temple shooter and the Batman movie shooter. The lefty want to do gooders are chomping at the bit waiting to make their mark in the next legislative session. Gay marriage and education at first will be the prioritys but don't think that those west coast imports forgot about gun control. Look at States like Massachusetts , New York and of course Commiefornia to get an idea about where things will go. Most of these folks also hate conceal carry, I suspect that will be monkied with too. We are in some troubleing times. Personally i am seriously thinking of moving my family to a more conservative state, even while being a 5 th generation Coloradoan. Over the years I can believe how far left this state has gone over the last few years. I really find myself resenting what I see. My values are a major part of me and how I raise my kids. The 2nd ADMENTMANT was and remains a very important way of life for me and my family. To have some outsiders come in and tell what is right and wrong gets my blood boiling. Lefties to me are like its my way or the highway. Sometimes I wish the ski slopes that brought them here were never built. Sad times right now but I am not going to just lay down, if i can't do nothing here there is always someplace else
