Right. Thats why I voted for R even though every single waking moment told me not too. The problem is if you don't inspire ALL the people on your side then your not gonna get turnout.

It would be the GOP's best interest to put up a libertarian candidate. Why? Because you know the life long republican jelly fish will vote Republican no matter what... You can always count on their vote, but you can't count on the conservative idealoges and libertarians to vote. You have to run a very conservative candidate to get all the conservative votes... And better yet if you put up a libertarian candidate you could count on all the conservatives and some of the democrats to vote for them. I personally know a few people that voted for Obama that if given the chance would have voted for Ron Paul instead.

Win. Rand Paul 2016? . . if the GOP can pull its head out of its collective ass before then.

I think the unique thing is that nobody has ever asked your opinion. I'm not opposed in the least to what you post, especially when it comes to Ronin... That stuff is just funny. You just put you opinion out there like that Bat Signal over Gotham City for all to admire.

Hopefully there will still be an election.....

Rand Paul is a wildcard IMHO. He sounds like his Dad but also plays the politics game a LOT more than his Dad. Hopefully he's just doing it to position himself accordingly and not isolate himself like Ron did.
