CBS this morning said he had a Glock 20SF, which was a very large caliber handgun that was issued to rangers in Greenland for protection against polar bears. Lanza reserved this gun for his suicide shot because he knew it would get the job done.

CBS also then referred to the school employees killed as a group of dedicated women who tried to stop the attack. Not teachers, not employees, but women.

this NBC report says the same thing--that Lanza killed 20 children and 6 women--just another angle to sensationalize the story
