    Looks to me that pretty much all the military pattern semi auto rifles have gone over the top. These last couple incidents have pushed the AR out front passed the AK in public perception.

    I think they need to switch their focus to the Springfield 1842, I would wager that rifle or its variants are responsible for more deaths in the United States than any other rifle in history.
