Default HK P7 what do you think of them and... Whats a reasonable price?

They look pretty cool, i read that they shoot great, and I love HK.

    They also look pretty thin.

Great little pistol and very unique.
If you break it though get ready, they are not cheap to fix and it is one of those that really needs a specialist.

What have you seen break? I had a worn firing pin on one of mine. Just wondered.

Unique, certainly a different manual of arms. I wouldn't want to practice/ compete with a glock and switch to a P7 for carry. There was someone making a specialty scraper for them to reach the impossible to clean areas. As for price, it's all relative. last time I saw them around in any numbers I think it was CDNN selling the plum P7 M8s

I never cared for the P7M8 and P7M13 versions, I hate the mag release. But I've often thought that for a less skilled person, the kind you might recommend a revolver, that the older P7 with heel release magazine, would make a decent self defense pistol. Especially the classic bedstand side table.

I have owned several over the years. Awesome little pistol.

A touch heavy for daily carry for my tastes.
