    Exclamation OMG!

I got a good deal from boulderite on a sweet Norinco MAK-90 Sporter. Threw a cheapo TAPCO AR style adjustable stock on it and took it to the Bennett range this past weekend, where I proceeded to hit torso sized steel CONSISTENTLY with just the factory irons, out to 175 yards! No B.S. I was there with (2) other forum members who were able to do it as well. I loved the way it shot, but wasn't crazy about the way it looked. At the suggestion of Jim, I contacted zteknik for a set of wooden furniture. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I get his package today in the mail. Inside was a "chinese style" refinished set, that I just finished fitting. OMG!

Looks awesome. I am one of the (2) he mentioned that can attest to the consistency of this rifle. Looks good Randy, great work zteknik!

Without going too far off topic, is this kind of accuracy good for a medium powered rifle with iron sights? Of this barrel length, of this caliber, of this make? I know very little about this kind of rifle. Can you elaborate? It is very pretty though.

200 meters is not problem with iron's They are 300yd guns all day long, on a good day. A bad day, save the ammo and bring out the 22's. Like any firearm it's the shooter as much the gun.
The RPK's / what ever 20" 7.82x39's an 8mm's were doing 400 out at pawnee one weekend. Bob knows the correct designations ask him.

BB check the firing pin the stamped norinco's usually had the spring loaded fp's. Once you get bored with that unit call me.

ALSO another +1 for Ztek. I have a few sets of furniture he re-did for us, very happy campers. Impressed a skinny nyker could rub wood that smooth
