This sounds like a complete cluster fudge.

Who is the organizer?
Who is going to talk? No one big wants to give a speech?
If it is a 'rally', if there is no speaker or cohesive message- what is there to 'rally' to?

It smells like a lefty party. They do stupid stuff like stand around.

At least make it a BBQ, or a collection for the NRA-ILA.
