I was just thinking that half-way through watching this... I never watch Piers, hell, I never watch CNN, but ever since mid-December I've probably watched about 45min worth of Piers' show, just to see him get owned.

Never thought I would say that I agree with the representative from California.

I don't know about "apologist", but he did say he was in favor of background checks on ALL sales and he was in favor of requiring all guns be locked up. Maybe a few other minor points.

I think this is where the give and take part would come in. I am for background checks on all purchases... Fine, it's fifteen minutes to an extra hour out of my time. However, if you are required to do this, I think they should give up the coat carry tax. You want to make me keep proving that I am legal to purchase a firearm every damn time, you know I'm legal to carry it and shouldn't have to pay an extra fee to do so concealed. I guess that I don't really care that much because I don't have to pay a ridiculous ammount of money to get a transfer done either..... Like I said though, if they don't want to give anything up, I don't want to give anything up.
