I know most of the ones up North here have them.

    Default 10/22 Stock Manufacturer?

Does anyone know who the manufacturer of the 'sniper' stock is in the post by Twitchyfinger?
I'm guessing it must be a custom job. After seeing that photo I did some surfing and couldn't find that stock anywhere.
Just curious mostly, but I was impressed with it.

If you are looking for a Mannlicher stock for a 10/22 they are no longer made. I think the stock was actually made by Ruger but am not sure, They can be found occasionally on place like gunbroker and ebay, Here is one that was for sale:

    Default the other stock

I wish I knew how to attach a pic. It's Snipe1022 in another post of yours in this 10/22 thread.
Looks like birch perhaps, with the adjustable comb and length of pull.

    No biggie

Yup, that's the one. Thanks for doing my homework for me and finding that. Dang... now I'm thinking I may 'need' a 10/22.

Default wally world filming gun sales?

As much as I love to shop at wally world, not sure I'm happy about their latest announcement to "create a computerized log of purchases in a bid to stop guns falling into the wrong hands". Also, teaming up with the "coalition of Mayors Against Illegal Guns". Considering they are the "largest seller of firearms in the United States", have the cheapest firearms, and lowest paid employees, is it a suprise firearms purchased from wal-mart end up in crimes?

I'm all for the retailer trying to be "responsible", but not sure where you draw the line, perhaps a little more training behind the counter (i know then the prices go up).

Unfortunately, both stores by me stopped selling guns, good to know they still have them in thornton. I was actually considering a 10/22 right before the broomfield store removed all their guns. When i had my FFL, wal-mart could beat my wholesale price on the guns they carried.

Ya Wal-mart is a piece of ****. Anything to do with that "waste of space" mayor bloomberg and his little followers in the form of "coalition of Mayors Against Illegal Guns" is pure bull****. When are they gonna go after the real problem, criminals not guns. IMO its worth the extra money to go to a sporting goods store or better yet a local gunshop and support people who support the constitution, Instead of funding those trying to deface it.

I read about that new video taping of gun purchases by Wally World. I'm glad i got this rifle before that story came out. I certainly wouldn't have bought from them had i known that was in the working.

As for Wal-Mart in general, it's a great store. As a consumer, i enjoy competitive pricing, and selection. Really hard to beat Wal-Mart in that regards to most house hold commodities.

Nice rifle by the way. Those things are addicting. Its hard to leave em stock for too long. There is just way too much cool stuff out there for them!
