Sadly, a lot of people do take him serious. The reason I found this clip, was a co-worker was talking about how "she heard on the news that Holmes could have shot down a plane" and she was shocked you can own a weapon that could do that.

Semi autos can shoot down airplanes. That would be if it weren't so adsurd. Then again, it is a proven fact that box cutters can bring down planes.
