I was eyeing some Dana 60s yesterday. Excuse to go out and thrash the 8.8/D30? I've never opened the axles but have receipts from the p.o. saying they're built/locked. Haven't yet tested them. Possibility of a run in the next few days? My stock 5 speed isn't going to last much longer behind the 350. Researching my 700r4 build now.

Thanks man. I'll hit him up. I may be able to make Thursday as well! As far as a build, it's a work in progress... aren't they all. Right now it's trail ready with a weak cooling system and tranny that won't last long. I have 60% of the components I need to upgrade the cooling. Also need to reinstall the heater and find a winch. CB showed up yesterday. Now need to get/build an overhead cage mount for it and buy cable/antenna. Don't currently have a mount for the spare either

I have a brand new one sitting in the box waiting to be installed, I have been trying to decide the best place to put it...... I think I will mount it off the center u shaped bracket that the t-tops go into. Now to decide the best place for the antennae.

As for Thursday were you all thinking? how far can you travel gopher?
