Score StreetDoctor! She looks like a workhorse! I am actually looking around for a Tundra or Tacoma quad TRD too... what made you opt for the Ram instead, if you can pinpoint any specific reasons? Also, if it's not too sensitive, would you mind letting me know what the registration tax ends up being on it? I heard the Ram was double some other pickups for some reason and just wanted a good idea of what i'd be looking at.

This is my 3rd Ram, I also had a base model 2004, and a 2006 Bighorn. The big difference for me between this and the Toyota was the ram interior is hands down way nicer! The sticker was 41.5k, and we got it down to 36 and some change, and they threw in the navigation software upgrade and heated seats. The Tundra grade interior is very "work truck like" to upgrade to the limited would have been about 5k more than this one. The ram felt more powerful and just more refined (suspension, seats, etc). I'm still figuring out the Uconnect, but it's basically like a laptop (with wifi option) in your dashboard. From what I understanding registration tax will be 2% of MSRP. I have until the end of March on the temp plate so I'm going to let that sink in a little bit lol.

Ok thanks for the insight StreetDoctor. I will have to look at the RAM's. I've never considered them really... but just have to now.
I hope for your sake that registration is only 2% of the msrp for you. I know it has something to do with the overall weight and value of the vehicle, when new. I have a strong suspicion it's going to be significantly more than that but would love to learn otherwise. Good luck and congratulations again regardless!!!
