Lock down is the dumbest idea ever... I will never understand why a better plan hasn't been put into place.. I've never understood lockdown

I know the kids in my room would be safe as I carry. However, the whole idea of sitting still and waiting is a little hard for me. I see the pros and cons of it. We have at least a teacher conference on safety, etc about once every two months.

I think its a case of "If I have to draw, I care more about the threat facing me than my job."

We go into lockdown at any little disturbance nowadays. There was an angry parent coming in yelling at the admin (good ol' case of "My little angel not do nuttin'"), lockdown.
