KDVR has this article right next to one saying "Over 300 teachers and school personnel take CCW course". I had to chuckle. Politicians sure do know the people they're representing.

This is reasonable. Well just make the gun free zones wider. Right now they're what, 1000 feet? Lets make them 2500 feet. Extend the force field. Our kids will be safe if we just make more places gun free zones.

I believe it's been a while since we've actually had "representation." Politicians aren't in it to serve anyone but themselves- save for a very small number.

Effort was made and they shot it down. Now it's on their heads. When someone goes to a school and shoots anyone, the people march down to the capital and demand those dems' heads on a stick. A good ole fashioned lynch mob is what's needed here.

I would guess a significant(and growing) number of teachers are carrying in violation of the current law, deducing (correctly) that it is better to be fired and prosecuted than to explain why they were helpless to defend the children entrusted to their care.

That's what I would do and what I would expect as a parent.
