It looks like he's pointed at almost a 90' angle with no swivel in his hips, so what station of skeet would have him aim so low and forward that could have a clay be at such a low angle?
I think they just handed him a shotgun, said aim for the tree trunk and took a photo while he shot at no target.

Ported barrel, yes. However, that barrel has ports at 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock, so one would think that there SHOULD be 2 plumes of gas coming out the top, and at slightly different angles. Also, over-under with a choke in the top barrel, but not the bottom? Also, terrible 90* stance shooting at something very low and close to that road... clearly not shooting skeet. My guess is that he was handed a shotgun and posed to get an official press picture to make the typical "Elmer Fudd" hunting American think that he is somehow pro-gun. One final point: since when does shooting a shotgun once prove that you are an avid defender of the constitution?
