What kind of trails are you wanting to hit? If your looking at wanting to do the majority of the ones in Colorado you will need; lift, tires, winch, lockers, etc. Right now you can do the majority of the dirt roads, but getting off road will be challenging stock.

I hear that a lot but then I see people posting trail reports on the various 4x4 forums hitting the mid level difficulty trails with their Isuzu Rodeos and Nissan Exterras. I'm sure a modified Jeep will do a bit better and would be necessary on the serious rock crawling trails, but there's plenty of trails out there that don't require a purpose built buggy.

When I first got it I went searching for video's showing what a stock X could do and some of it was pretty amazing. Especially the one where it goes under water to about 6" from its top and keeps going. Some of the vids showed the guy didn't know how to get it in 4x4 though too so didn't really count those

Might want to watch my video of the Toyota winching his way up a very EASY trail..... here is a very easy trail and the rigs needed lockers. Shoot even the ones were T-Giv and Gofer hit were fairly easy, and there rigs were still built a bit.

yes there are easy trails through out Colorado and you will have fun the way it is...... Just was asking what you wanted to do? leisure drives through Colorado or some fun 4x4 trips?

This is the one the Toyota had to winch up

Maybe if you are driving blind folded. I'm sure the snow complicates things.

Almost true. In red isn't needed for about 80% of the trails in Colorado but they do help

Correction; not needed as stated but if you wish not to power it out, break shit, twist shit up and crawl smoothly. They do help! A LOT.....

When you bringing that BEAST out? Notice the winch....... Bet she has lockers too!

P.S- i didn't quote that ugly Toy.... ha
