There is a reason I got the eff out just a few months after turning 18. Cali legislature, even back then before they had a supermajority, was just like this whenever confronted with anything. Any excuse to pass "the most..." [stupid] legislation in the country on any issue.
Reagan and the Cali republicans started the modern gun control movement. So The Stupid crosses party lines in that state.

That explains the attitude...(kidding). Even Bill Gates' fortune isn't enough for me to live in Kommiefornia. I have friends that live there, and to this day I consider them to be either stupid, insane, or insanely stupid.
