Watch out for the guy with the 9mm on his side.
    He "may" wound something.

Everyone congregates somewhere around the big table, you will see it.
Tell just about anyone there that you are there for the class.
Someone will direct you to it.
It is about 15 paces south.

Tell the first person you see that you are there for the new shooters class. Leave your pistol in a case until your instructor tells you to go ahead and uncase it.

Also, during the class, no ammo or loaded mags on you.

    Remember to have fun.

Thanks to all that helped me out today. Even though it was a long day and we got rained out I still had fun and everyone was really nice and helpful. Is the Pueblo IDPA match this coming Sunday next week?

    Glad you had fun.

The rain deal is just part of hanging out with Sorge. We have got used to it.

Pueblo is next Sunday. Bring a rifle like an AR for the side match.

    Rain.......you call that rain?
    You could call it a........downpour.

Good to hear you had fun.
The "classifier" usually only happens once a year at Clear Creek.
Most of the time, there are stages "like" the blind stage set up on every berm. Then your squad rotates to each berm to shoot it.

What did you think of the blind stage? Did they let you take the bucket off your head, BEFORE you started shooting it? I heard they let some people shoot WITHOUT the bucket on their head. That is cheating. Just kidding. I like blind stages. NOT that I do that well.

There is a handgun match next Saturday at the Boulder Rifle Club. (Side match, precision rifle) then the IDPA match in Pueblo on Sunday.

    Have fun.

pickenup> I didn't get a chance to do the blind stage so I missed out on that one. Oh well, thats how it goes some times. I am pretty easy going so I wasnt too worried about missing out on it. Can you give me some more information on the Boulder Rifle club match? Is this an IDPA event? I would like to attend that event if I could and any information on it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The Boulder match is NOT affiliated with IDPA (or anyone else) in any way.
    Information sent via PM.

We start at 10:00. The new to IDPA class starts at 8:00 and set-up begins around 6:30. Depending on how many people show up to help with set-up, it will be a 6 stage match.

The day before in Pueblo is the Sniper Match.
