I guess there are people in this country that need the government to let them know what they should and shouldn't do. I on the other hand would look outside, say to myself, that is a lot of fucking snow and turn on the XBOX and plow my driveway every few hours. I guess its the same morons who think a firearm is too damn scary unless its the government....it is the nannie state after all.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.
    Thomas Jefferson

Saying you can't take away our guns but totally agreeing with gov imposing traffic restrictions and the corresponding fines is hypocrisy at its finest...They're both for the "greater good", are they not?

Limiting traval is unconstitutional, Even if it is snowing out. If they can do that they can sign an EO to take your guns.

    How about some personal responsibility?

Instead of being a nanny, how about recommending that folks stay off the roads. You may be risking your life which you, and only you, are responsible for protecting. If your vehicle is abandoned on the roadway, you're taking responsibility for it. If your vehicle is on the roadway, it will be pushed off to the side with no consideration for minimizing damage to the vehicle.

They should remove the warning tags off of all consumer items. No circuit breakers on hair dryers. If you think it's a good idea to dry your hair in the tub, go for it. Let's cull the herd. Perhaps it would have a positive result on our elections.

Millions of guns have hurt nobody or have defended life...but lets get rid of them because a few criminals have used them to commit their crimes. Legislating or dictating based on the terms of the few that mess it up for the many is what got us here.

    .

Not Agreeing with the ban but to play devil here...

People Don't Listen . When they get stuck they will call for help and risk first responders. IF first responders don;t respond. they will be in the media ( and likely court) explaining why not .. and losing more then likely.

As to just knocking the cars outta the way .... damages the plow and likely the roadway .

I figure that if they just recommend folks stay home .... maybe 40-50% listen ... if they ban it like they have .. 80% will listen .. and the only ones that will get the fine / jail will be the ones that didn't have proper equipment / skills to be on the roadway and they have to go save .. the ones that go out and make it back home safe will be left alone..

    That's my guess anyways .

Fine, you're welcome to go out and do whatever you want. But don't expect any help from the government emergency rescue services when you get stuck in a snowbank and have no food or other provisions.
