well apophis has another go round with us in 2036, which has the "best" chance of hitting us, but is still pretty remote, and that one is big enough to mess things up in a bad way

Damn I remember that movie I liked blonde sister better. It was metal buildings or something that block them from the effects. BTW it was a comet in the movie though, not an asteroid.This story reminds me ... I used to have the biggest crush on Catherine Mary Stewart.
