It's a lost cause.

They always use the same excuse. "It doesn't matter how we vote, the system is broken and only going to get worse. At least democrats care about the middle class and working families, the Republicans just want to keep making rich people even more rich and make port people even more poor."

There are no facts I can bring to make them see the truth. Their perception of reality has been completely distorted and facts are perceived as nothing more than propaganda used by the right to further their agenda and line the pockets of the wealthy.
