    Default Gun Lovin' Kitties

Sure, dogs are great but you can't stick them in your range bag. Once in, they never leave...

True, but I prefer safe-cats. Once in, they guard your guns and provide an endless supply of hairball lube for all guns.

Seriously though, cats are great, but my dog can carry my AR. Now, all I have to do is teach her how to shoot it.

    Cats suck, that is all.

Refer to my pissed on comment in the night shift thread for reference.

And here I thought you were in some work dorms or something and instead of being shaving creamed, you were pissed on. I take it a cat was the culprit?

My wife and her animals... a few years ago I woke up to a golden retriever with new puppies and a placenta on my leg.

Yeah, the cat is coming into heat and going bonkers, which included peeing on me at 3am.

Cleary you did something to the cat to deserve it.

As far as the dog goes, consider yourself lucky that yours didn't need an emergency c-section.... More $$ than I'm willing to admit.

Ah, gotcha. That explains it! Sorry to hear that.

My dog ate a bottle of advil liquigels about 6-8mo ago, nearly died and cost us about $1k in medical bills (ibuprofen is the most toxic drug to dogs and liquigels are very fast acting). For 6mo after that, she hasn't been able to control her bladder, would pee while sleeping and didn't know it. I cleaned our comforter, couch cushions, carpets, pillows, anything that she'd get on whether she was allowed to or not, at least once per day for months. Even putting her on meds for continence hasn't helped, though in the past 2mo its getting much less frequent, only once every week or so, and even then its not that bad.

She woke my Fiancee up at 4am today to ask to go outside. Which is very unusual because she has never asked to go outside before (or if she did she would just stare at you like she wanted to play but really she wanted to go pee).

But gosh darnit, I love that dog and wouldn't trade her for anything!!
