We have another election cycle soon and that's the beauty of our system. If shit goes through today, we can change it then...if we have the resolve to do it. This is exactly how I feel. I live in the middle of fucking nowhere on purpose - to be AWAY FROM PEOPLE. But I blow $20 in gas and drive to Denver every few weeks to "show up". To "be there". To "make some difference...maybe".

Not showing up can only HELP THE OPPOSITION. Christ all mighty, standing around for an hour or so at the Capitol Bldg is a gigantic hassle? I met an older forum member (sorry man) there who lives in the hills who told me he hadn't been to a gathering that large in 20 years....HE KNEW IT WAS THAT IMPORTANT, so he went down. Man, the apathy among our youth...sad.

How many of our members here have spent hours on the phone, writing letters, composing e mails, attending town halls, hearings, rallies, their own cash to RMGO, NRA etc?
Many have taken time off from work, missed events and time with family, fishing, skiing and I even have a customer who cancelled his vacation to stay and fight for our Rights.
We are facing the reality of what we are against and instead of sitting on our tired asses we are doing what we can.

Thank God the men of Concord, Shiloh, the Ardennes, Tarawa, Normandy, Chosin Reservoir, Khe Sanh, Mogadishu, Fallujah and Kandahar weren't "too tired"......
