Coyotes everywhere

If you can get them close - say inside 50 yds - gut shoot them with a .17 HMR. Won't drop them on the spot, but they'll run away and croak somewhere away from your property. My brother lives in Arizona and has some pretty bold coyotes that look over his retaining wall into the pool/yard area where his dogs hang out. He has effectively reduced the yotes on his property with the above approach.

This is what gives hunters a bad name. I've got nothing against shooting coyotes and do it myself, but do it humanely - one shot immediate kills.

absolutely hunting something take it down humanely. whether it be that trophy you've seen for the past 3 years but have'nt been close enought to. or the lowly ground rat. do it right or don't pull the trigger.
