    Default DIY/Tools/Construction/whatever section.

    So there's the survival and preparedness section which doesn't quite seem like a perfect fit. I was thinking with the number of questions that come up from people regarding around the house projects, maintenance, etc. Maybe we could have a Joe the handyman section or something for all things man-work related? (Vs cluttering up the general forum)

    Not a bad idea. Would you be able to make a list of said threads cluttering up the General Discussion forum?

    I'm generally against more subforums, but I've had quite a few questions about stuff like this recently that I haven't asked because this isn't really the site for it.

    Hey fitz, if you(or anyone else) can put together a list of some of the threads that could be placed in this new forum get the list to Omicron and we can likely put this forum together. I like the idea.

    I'm currently working on building a barrel stove, replacing clogged pipe behind my bathroom sink, building a corner pantry with a light that comes on when you open the door, building a tie rack, and building a drop down secret gun storage compartment.

    There was also another thread about a tv cabinet with a lift system in there somewhere. I'm on the iPad, sot it's hard to search for it.
