I posted the other thread. I wonder what traction this is actually getting. There are D legislative members with permits, and several D members supported the original 2003 bill.
It is also a viable position to support mag restrictions, safe storage and red flag while still supporting concealed carry. We might not agree, but it still a reasonable thought process.
The hypocrisy of only this topic being suitable for local control and only in a more restrictive manner is also probably not lost on some of them.
It would be also interesting for them to articulate what widespread incidents justify a mass contraction of CC besides the fact the progressive activists don't like it.
