There are plenty of middlin' liberals, though, who are somewhat anti-gun but not fearful or unreasonable about it. Those are the people you can have dinner with and talk calmly about guns with (not to.)

Seriously. I'm done with the "reasonable" approach to liberals/liberalism. It doesn't work on the whole...never has. It's time us true pro-gun people adopted some of the radical methods liberals live by to get OUR way for a change.

It depends on the way you use the word liberal. Most of the people on here are liberal, if you side with the second amendment, you are liberal. Liberal simply means that you like your freedom to do what you want without someone else telling you what to do; the maximum ammount of individual freedom possible, especially as guaranteed by law and secured by governmental protection of civil liberties. Now those lefties have completely killed the concept of actual liberalism with all of their BS. So, are we liberals? Yes. Do we side with the Liberal party? Hel... Fuck no!

^^ Yes. That describes a classical liberal. I'd put myself in that category. But that's not how the term is used these days to describe the progressive liberal ideology.
