Got into it today again (like always) with my nut-job liberal sister-lin-law and her husband. They said when the ban on guns goes into effect, requiring everyone to turn in there weapons, they were going to volunteer to help take everyones guns and my house would be the first stop they would make. I stayed very calm, smiled and said to them, " It would also be your last moment here on GODS good green Earth." My wife then piped in and said " He would not be sorry for my loss, just so that you know".


I could not even begin to imagine to see people who where all for this ban to start volunteering.

I can't speak for you or your wife, but you really should consider cutting all ties to your sister in law and her family. She basically said she'd happily bring the Gestapo around to your house to kill you.

Maybe consider a restraining order.

This. I would never see these so called family members again. I would have told them to get out, and when they started to protest, immediately called the police to have them removed from your premises, followed by a restraining order.

Interesting.... I happen to know a lot of liberals. I work for a public school district and my wife's family is full of em'.... Granted, speaking to most of them makes me want to rip out (whats left of) my hair, but not all of them are gun grabbers...

Take for example my mother in law. She's all for gay marriage, single payer health care, etc., but not only does she hold a concealed carry permit, she paid for my wife and I to get ours as an anniversary present. Big advocate of firearms training and CCW for women in particular. Openly states she disagrees with Obummer that gun control will have any positive effect in reducing firearms related crime.

There is a man who works as a custodian at one of the elementary schools. Very mild mannered, slightly built, openly homosexual. This guy's car has so many "Hope and Change" bumper stickers it has become a veritable shrine to Obama. His collection of Evil Black Rifles is epic in proportion. I got to know him a little bit when I did some plumbing work at his house awhile back. I geuss he got tired of being attacked for being gay and decided to never again be a victim. Interestingly, he discovered what many liberals never learn. Shooting is fun. He tells me this fact is what feeds his obsession.....

My wife is perhaps the best example of a reformed gun hating Democrat. When we first met she thought firearms only belonged in the hands of police or military. I asked if she had ever even fired a gun. She said no, but she was willing to try in the interest of being open minded. I took her to the range and within a half hour she was hooked. She began to understand that a 5'3" woman alone in a parking garage gets raped an murdered if she is attacked by three men. She survives unscathed if she is armed. In fact, she just brought it to my attention that it is probably about time to start teaching our daughters to shoot. Oh, and last year, for my birthday she bought me an 870 tactical......

Yes, most liberals are gun grabbers. I think this is due to ignorance and lack of exposure. What I do when I meet one who is rational enough to even discuss the issue of gun ownership in a logical way is to invite them to the range. Show them we are NOT nut jobs. Let them see who the gun culture really is and what we are really like. This is the best way to handle a liberal......
