Rucker will probably hate me for life, but it must be said... Recently we've seen a shift in politics in this nation, and much as it pains me to say this about many of my friends who just so happen to be Democrats it must be said. Also, and again, not originally my words, Carl IIRC said it best, since of the main points to the democratic party's platform has been "common sense" gun control in the last 2 presidential elections, you cannot be 2A friendly AND a Democrat at the same time... unless you're an idiot. Look, I'm not going to mince words, and hate me if you will, flame if you must, but you cannot deny the truth, the Democratic party has moved so far left that if you were to ask me what the difference between the ideals of the Democratic party (what they wish to ultimately have) and 1950's Soviet Russia's government, I'd say "I really am having a hard time deciphering one from the other."
