The same airframe I flew for AC punched a hole in Lewiston exactly one year after I left. Dual engine flameout. Ice and Garrets don't mix. Other than that it was a good motor. I think they lost 2 more out of Centennial. Those spoilerons sucked.Quote:

Have not looked at at this thread in a bit love those pictures Hoser.. The MAFF's saved our ass one time in Idaho when i was on the wildland crew a fluke wind shift and fire got below us ended up face down while a c130 dropped slurry right over/on us.
that crap is sticky had to do a full strip on my saw to get all of it out and running right again.
