    I remember seeing those OV-10's when we worked for American Check in Boise. Some still had the gun pods on as they waited to be converted for the Forest Service. I would live to if flown those ( still would ). Of course they did have the same motors as the MU2 I was in and that worried me a bit.

    At least the OV-10 has ailerons. The engines never worried me on the MU2. But then again, I never had to fly that piece of shit. I just barely squeaked out of going to training when International Jet had one.

    The same airframe I flew for AC punched a hole in Lewiston exactly one year after I left. Dual engine flameout. Ice and Garrets don't mix. Other than that it was a good motor. I think they lost 2 more out of Centennial. Those spoilerons sucked.

    Have not looked at at this thread in a bit love those pictures Hoser.. The MAFF's saved our ass one time in Idaho when i was on the wildland crew a fluke wind shift and fire got below us ended up face down while a c130 dropped slurry right over/on us.

    that crap is sticky had to do a full strip on my saw to get all of it out and running right again.
