CRKT M16-14Z. Had it for a decade now, great knife.
Held a Benchmade Griptillian and really liked it, but too large for my office dress attire. I liked the feel of the CRKT knives I held, a LOT, but they either had a dumb safety to close it, or a just as bad one to open it. Totall ruined the knives or I would have had one right now.
I went to Sportsmans and the Army Surplus store and held a bunch. I went to two pawn shops right next to each other. One had a bunch of China junk and the other one had mostly Spyderco and Benchmade. I picked up this Benchmade for $25. Basically the same size as what I already had, but a lot better quality. Sharpened up well also.

Looks like a 551s griptilian.
It's a lot smaller than a Griptillan and the marking is 556. I'll look it up. I'm curious how well I did on the price, considering they wanted $100+ on everything else.
I take it back. Looks like you are absolutely correct.

Well, we were both right.

Ahh yeah the mini grips! Still a great knife. I had one in m4 steel. Batch of 500. Sold it.....I hate having knives around I don't use
Nice, I should have shown you my CRKT while I was over there. Even with dress clothes, it pretty much disappears and you definitely can't tell how much of a beast it is. It does have the auto lock feature, but with a little practice it is very easy to open & close with one hand. The way I have it set up, it opens on the draw like the wave feature.
If my carry piece wasn't already at 4'o'clock and I didn't have a tucked in shirt all the time, I'd probably pretty easily be able to carry a better EDC knife.
Yeah I have my knife at the 4:00 position & my m&p at 12 in a smart carry

Spyderco Southard (with pic this time)
I rotate between a Zero Tolerance 350 and a Benchmade Mini Rukus.
Curious about the comment about a CQC-7 being too bulky for EDC; it is on my shortlist along with a BM Rift.

I go between a spyderco manix, and spyderco native.
I saw on Kershaw's website (and Emerson's) that Kershaw will be manufacturing some Emerson designs. No release date, but the pics and descriptions look nice.
Currently out of money, but will remember when things settle down.
I just pre-ordered a Kershaw/Emerson CQC-4K and a CQC-5K from BladeHQ. I haven't bought this inexpensive (<$100 of a knife in many years. I am curious to see and feel how they turn out; never owned a Kershaw before.
Oh my goodness, I'm going to try to pre-order one ASAP. Gotta let the funds clear up from my dog's vet visit last week.
I got all you mall neenjers beat. A real Delta Force Tactical. How uber tactical is that? Chinese first quality too. [Ninja]

In TN right now and had to leave the usual EDCs at home. Picked this up at the local True Value. Nice little blade that sharpened up pretty well. Not expecting much more out of it.
Chuck Norris gave me one just like it. [ROFL2]
I've recently "cut over" ;) to carrying a SOG Twitch XL assisted opening tanto. I absolutely love this knife! Sits low in my pocket, thin enough to not be in the way, big enough for any task, lightning fast to open, and a backlock instead of a liner lock, which while I've gotten used to them, aren't my favorite.

I carried the smaller Twitch II for many years. Held up quite well. Awesome little knife.
Love my zero tolerance..http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/21/6emysase.jpg
SOG AegisAttachment 41273
SOG Aegis here also. $65. In my pocket every day for 3yrs without a problem. I like the fat belly blades.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/24/y7yma5u8.jpg
I'm a fan of Camillus "Heat" series. With "Robo assist" Carried one for 5 - 6 years now.
I had a nice combat troodon for a while (where legal :P) but my default knife for at least the last decade has been a kershaw branded Onion leek. I think I prefer the semi serrated blades without the coating, despite how cool the black looks.

Surefire Jekyll.
Best carry knife ever for every day.
Do have other pocket knives for camping, hiking, etc... But the Jekyll is small enough for dress pants at work.
