Never acceptable. They should be charged and thrown in jail. There are too many good cops and citizens to have the inmates run the asylum.

If Gray had recently had spinal fusion surgery, and had previous fusions as reported, running for any reason was stupid. He could have been chased down by an old woman.

There was a guy on Hannity the other day who discussed the issue with the Rodney King case and how this will probably turn out similar... Overcharging. I imagine none of the officers will be convicted of murder and the people in this country who want "no justice, no peace" will riot, again. I find it somewhat laughable (under better circumstances) all the cries about racism when the mayor, the DA, the chief of police, and even a few of the officers involved in this mess are all black. What is that saying about the people crying racism?
