Sheriff's being threatened

BREAKING NEWS Via Don Dobyns:
On 740 AM KVOR radio this morning Sheriff Terry Maketa stated this morning in short form that the sheriffs of Colorado are being threatened, extorted and blackmailed for speaking up for our 2nd amendment rights. These threats are being initiated by the democratic party and possibly all the way to the top of the party from Senators. [Mad]
This opens the door for both state and federal investigation for possible charges.

Contact your local sheriff and encourage them to file a formal complaint, if they themselves have been threatened.

Weld Cty. sheriff and DA have no issues handling these problems them self. Just wait until election time for the sheriffs, EVERY dirty trick, slander, innuendos no matter how false will be used to get them UN elected.
The dems need to be worried about the POSSE TARNFEATHERUS

I'm surprised it took so long. But, to be fair, I'd like to see some sort of statement on this other than a post on a gun forum. Anybody have any further info? I can't seem to find anything.

I am still trying to verify also but thought I'd put it out to try and get help verifying. I did find this (highlighted portion) but is more than likely "old". (still a good read)

I was told that, under executive order, sheriffs can be removed from office due to insubordination during an "emergency" defined as "public unrest." Or they could be discredited and replaced. The Democrats are well known for their history of dirty tricks against the opposition.

Executive Orders may only be issued to offices under direct control of the Executive Branch. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think a County Sheriff reports to the President.

From what I've read Sheriffs answer to no one in there county other than the people and sometimes the coroner.

Given how willing the sheriffs have been to speak out for us, come election time we're going to have to return the favor.

Undoubtedly their actions have made them some powerful enemies both here in Colorado and nationally.

It truly shows the type of folks we are dealing with here, they (dems) really do think they are the "be all, end all" and will stop at nothing to further their agenda, no matter how illegal or unconstitutional it is!

If what the sheriff says in that interview is true, and I have no reason to doubt him, this is probably the most frightening thing I've ever heard of in American politics.

I can't say what I'd like to do to John Morse and some other Colorado democrats because I'd probably be jailed.

If you voted for any of these people, make no mistake...you are the ENEMY and you will eventually reap what you've sown.

More than you think. I sat down with one last month who agreed that mags limit should be in place, but he was buying some from me because he knows he wouldnt commit crazy stuffs.. Needless to say, I left.
