I'd bet you could beat someone to death alot easier with a 30 round mag than a 15 round oneCould probably choke a cow with a mag.
If Chuck Norris threw a loaded 30 round mag at you out of a balloon at 30000 feet it might kill you...
hmm, how else could you kill someone with a mag?
(and yes I know the operative part is YOU, not the mag. Having some fun)
Bye Bye Magpul, bye bye 800 jobs related to your awesome business. Oh and I guess bye bye to hundreds of other businesses and tourism dollars. My bet if they pass these bills somewhere between 2000-6000 jobs will leave the state never to return. If for no other reason these bills need to go down for financial reason alone.
Somewhat off topic, but not worth starting a new thread over. Just heard an ad on 99.5, paid for by the NRA, putting some major pressure on Sen Nancy Todd!!
God I hope she listens. I've been in contact with her on a daily basis since these bills were introduced.
yes but the jobs will be concentrated in longmont/erie (yet the senator for there is a firm yes) or scattered across the state in ones and twos. just a little blip that wont even register on a statewide basis.
So if all these pass, I see this in my future: My boss tells me to go to Asia for my quarterly business trip. As I have (say) 10 guns in my safe, and my wife will need access to those guns to protect our family, we will need to transfer them. Since I'm fully expecting to retain ownership of those guns, I can't bona fide gift those to her. We have to go to an FFL, with all my guns, and transfer them, at 10 x ($10+new fee), say a total of $30 initially, leaving them with the FFL until the BGC is approved. Now, I'm not going to return in three days, so she will breaking the law by not returning my guns to me in 72 hours and loses her right to possess firearms. And if any of those guns use magazines with greater than 15 capacity, I can't transfer those to her, so she is less safe than she would be if she had full access to a working AR. Let's say she gets a currently non-existent extension, upon my return we do the same thing all over again, paying another $30 to the FFL for the pure purpose of retaining my Constitutionally protected rights. What's not to like?

Sane person with a better sight picture
I like that one dudes 'stache, between the 'stache and his mannerisms I can see that guy in a Clint Eastwood Western.
The defense is concentrating on the loss of jobs
Not one democrat is paying attention. As a matter of fact, the only people paying any attention all day are in the gallery.
