I keep hearing HB 13-1224 is going back to the house to get the senate amendment(s) approved.
I must have missed that part yesterday.
Can anybody explain the amendment (s)?

I don't remember the exact details, but they amended the section pertaining to shotguns.
I found some '11 second' posts in here but work prevented me yesterday to listening much. Can some recap what that was about?
I'm guessing Sandy Hook. My question is....how does he know? I didn't realize the police reports were made public yet. And I heard through the rumor mill that the police found half full mags dumped on the ground so I'm confused.
-thanks

That prick sen. Johnston (?) from denver gave an emotional BS speech from atop the graves of sandy hook's kids. He kept it up about an 11 second mag change and equating it to 11 little lives. And if we would just pass this pos bill, those 11 second mag changes would allow for someone brave (not him, he even said so) to rush the shooter and save 11 lives.
I will not abide this abomination. (1224)

Just posted this to Johnston's Facebook:
"I vote for saving eleven more lives" sounds much better than "I also voted to ensure that 5 more lives per reload would be lost in the interest of sounding reasonable". If saving lives is so important, why didn't you amend this bill back to 10, or even 5? The first fifteen lives aren't so important? I also admired your hubris in weakening the power of the sheepdogs to fight the wolves while praising their existence to protect you, the sheep.
