Well said, this is the unobtainable liberal ideal, to each his own utopia. The problem is that not everyone has the same idea of utopia and in the end no one has utopia but no one has happiness or individuality either.

What people don't realize is that laws like that take away the rights of the business owner... you no longer have a choice, the government will make that choice for you. What happens when they start saying what kind of liquor bars can/can't serve?

We are truly in an era of being controlled from when you wake up until you go to sleep. My life is regulated every second of the day. Any one that has dealt with the city during a home improvement knows you have less to say about your house than the government. The English colonies may not have been so bad, at least the king was across an ocean.
